Taiana Giefer, is a fine artist, fashion designer and model who lends her sketches, paintings, and handmade felted scarves for my posters, album artwork (her painting was used for the cover of Mouth of Feathers), and even stage (and everyday life) wardrobe. I connect personally with her art because of her use of vibrant colors on often morbid, creature-like images, challenging the observer to revise or revisit their opinion on what is beautiful and what is not. Whether or not her intention, this juxtaposition that takes place in her artwork coincides with what I hope my poetry/lyrics do for you listeners- challenging your thoughts on the impractical or ordinary, and the content or troubled being. There is a wealth more to be discussed about her work as I have only touched on the surface, but that happens to be my favorite thing about art and how it allows for and welcomes endless interpretation.

So friends, here she is.
